My Why
My youngest son was born with a rare genetic disorder and was later diagnosed with Autism. He became my ‘why’ to resign from my position in Corporate America and start J.D. Clark. I focused on achieving a work/life balance while helping the community and creating a legacy for two sons. I positioned my company to support the pending fallout of the 2008/2009 bust of Real Estate.
Initially, my vision was to be the Premier Foreclosure/Real Estate Owned (REO) Property Manager in the Washington Metropolitan Area. I was a niche solution provider for the mortgage field servics industry. Mybackground andskillset would propel the company to serve the blight in my community and local neighborhoods.

The vision evolved as we expanded into affordable housing and public works. Currently, the vision is ‘Transforming Communities Through Social Impact®. We do this by providing Construction, Consulting and Real Estate Services to Government Agencies, Housing Agencies, Non-Profits and Low to Moderate First Time Homebuyers by demonstrating reliability and expertise while building strong relationships in the communities we serve. My company does this by leveraging local businesses and residents to fuel the local economy, as identified by HUD as a Section 3 Business Concern. We serve as a niche mixed use and affordable housing solution provider impacting communities by improving them, evolving them, and establishing them. Our company’s culture exudes into the communities we transform.
