Naming The Brand

J.D. knew she was entering a male dominated industry. She used her full name, Tisa J.D. Clark, dropping her first name and started the company, naming it J.D. Clark. When she showed up to pre-bid conferences, the other contractors would ask, 'where is J.D.'?

Being a woman, in the male dominated construction industry has been Ms. Clark’s greatest challenge that she overcame. Instead of letting greed drive her, she lets the vision of the community legacy and impact drive. She slowly grew and maintained the quality of her Brand. Now when she shows up among those same contractors, her well earned respect is given!

We will identify and acquire vacant, blighted properties in neighborhoods that need revitalization. Our focus will be on areas that are underserved and have a high demand for affordable housing.

We will invest in teams of skilled professionals to provide top-quality renovation services that meet the needs of our clients. We will use the best materials and technology available to ensure that our homes are energy-efficient, safe, and comfortable.

Make homeownership accessible

Make homeownership accessible: We will work with community organizations, financial institutions, and other partners to provide financing options and support services to make homeownership accessible to a broader range of people. We will also prioritize affordability by keeping our renovation costs low and passing on those savings to our clients.

Build strong partnerships

We will build strong partnerships with local communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure that our work aligns with community goals and priorities. We will also collaborate with other organizations to create more comprehensive approaches to neighborhood revitalization.
